Woman gives birth to 5 children at once in Karachi

Karachi: A rare and joyful event took place in Baldia Town, where resident Adnan Sheikh became the father of quintuplets—five babies born at the same time.

According to hospital sources, the babies were born prematurely at 29 weeks through an emergency C-section. Doctors stated that all five newborns had extremely low birth weights and faced breathing difficulties immediately after birth. They were promptly placed on oxygen support and underwent initial laboratory tests.

Adnan Sheikh, who works as a driver, was married just a year ago. The family expressed that the babies’ condition has slightly improved but remains critical. They are currently under special medical care in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).

Overwhelmed with joy and responsibility, the father appealed to the authorities and kind-hearted individuals for financial assistance.
